  • Where are you based?
    Our studio is based in Nieuwkoop, a village in the center of The Netherlands nearby the large cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and the Hague. We travel throughout the country and love to provide arrangements for your destination wedding as well and travel to countries such as Belgium, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Our background in Flower Export supports these travels for celebrations.
  • Do you provide only flowers or also other decorations?
    We are specialized in floral arrangements for an event such as a wedding. To create the aesthetic at the venue we provide the backdrop for the ceremony, as well the small decorations such as candles from Ester & Erik in beautiful colors that compliment the floral arrangements, napkins or lanterns with candles to the venue. Off course all items needed for the floral arrangements are included and are arranged by us. Should you require larger hardware, such as chairs, table linen, invitations and welcome signs we like to collaborate with different stylists in which we are happy to accommodate these for you.
  • What happens with the flowers after the event?
    You are more than welcome to collect the arrangements and bring the flowers home or give them away to the guests. We will make sure everything is cleaned and picked-up the next day at the venue. Flowers that are left over we happily donate to an elderly home or hospice nearby. All the hardware (vases, containers, structures) we will collect after the wedding so please take out only the florals.
  • How can I book Bloom Your Life for my event?
    How nice to hear you like working together for your celebration! If you could fill out the contact form that would be great, then we will have all your details and could check our availability. Then we could schedule an initial meeting at our studio or a video call. After that we will make an initial summary of a personalized concept and quotation. If this first draft is at your liking we will set the date for you and send you the deposit. After receiving it the date is booked in our schedule. In the following weeks/ months we can add and adjust the concept and proposal until it is like your wishes and are able to adjust details until 1 month before the celebration.
  • What is the minimum budget you work with?
    We work with a budget that is a minimum spend of € 2500 in the Netherlands and Belgium. Destination weddings such as France and Spain have a starting budget of € 8.000. During low season (november - march) we can take smaller orders, please let us know and we can check our availability.
  • Why do you work with a minimum budget?
    Together we will experience a intense collaboration from your inquiry, the meet-up, floral designplan, adjusting until the wedding day itself. We like to work in a personal way and like to be of your assistance any step of the way in choosing the floral arrangements and decor for your special day. On the day of the event we will always be providing you with 2 colleagues of the team to be sure that everything is set on time and we can exceed your expectations with superb service and the most beautiful arrangements.
  • What can we prepare before meeting you and to receive a quotation?
    It is helpful if you already have some ideas in terms of colors, kind of flowers or style you like. This could be collected on a pinterest board or on a file which you prefer. Details that we like to know beforehand are, the venue or venues, rough planning of the day and the color scheme you have in mind. Also we like to know, the number of guests who are attending, (day and evening guests) a list of the kind of decorations you are thinking of, kind of diner tables and number of tables, where the ceremony will take place and the budget you have in mind to spend on the flowers for your special celebration. This information will be a good starting point for our initial meeting and for the summary concept and quotation.
  • Do you have recommendations for other vendors such as wedding planner, stylist, photographer, wedding cake or hairstylist?
    We are more than happy to give you our tips for other vendors for your special celebration. In our experience we have worked with alot of vendors over the years and we have our own preferred list of vendors who are not only great to work with but also create beautiful work. When a team for your event collaborates, you will see and feel the magic coming to life for your celebration.
